Tape For Limited Service Life
Series 200 Removable Construction marking tape is a preformed polymer road marking film specifically designed for usage on asphaltic and concrete surfaces. It is available in various roll widths and pre-cut legends.
Series 200 Removable
Construction tape is available in white, yellow and custom colors.
Series 280 Hide-A-Line preformed plastic, removable marking tape is designed to adhere to tightly secured pavement
marking materials, asphaltic and/or concrete surfaces. It is suitable for covering longitudinal or transverse markings
including word/symbol markings. Series 280 tape is available in various shapes and roll widths.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Composition: The Removable Series tapes consist of a pre-applied, pressure sensitive adhesive with high quality
polymeric materials, pigments and glass beads assuring long term retroreflectivity for white and yellow tapes only.
No glass beads used in ATM 280.
Removability: This Series of tapes shall be removable from asphalt or concrete intact or in large pieces at temperatures
above 40°F (5°C) without the use of heat, solvents, grinding or blasting.
Applicability To Pavement Surfaces: The Removable Series tapes shall be applied to clean and dry surfaces in
accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Ambient temperatures, 24 hours before and after, of 40°F (5°C)
and rising. See Manufacturer's Application Instructions included in each box.
Pigmentation: The Removable Series of tapes pigments are selected and blended to provide a marking tape, in white
or yellow, that will conform to standard highway colors throughout the expected life of the tape.
Skid Resistance: The Removable Series of tapes will have an initial minimum skid resistance value of 50 BPN according
to ASTM E 303.
Reflectance For Series 200 Only: Tape will have the following minimum results when tested in accordance
with ASTM D4061.

Performance Requirements:
Series 200 Tape, when applied according to the manufacturer's recommendations, shall provide a maximum service
period of twelve months. In snow removal areas, plowing and / or tined concrete may shorten the tape's life cycle.
Series 280 Tape, when applied according to the manufacturer's recommendations, shall provide a maximum service
period of twelve months. In snow removal areas, plowing and / or tined concrete may shorten the tape's life cycle.
