Provides detectable warnings in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities
Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG)
ADA Mats provide the visually impaired with an immediate detectable warning they are about
to enter a street or other potentially hazardous area. The 2' x 3' mats are easily trimmed
to conform to any ramp configuration. The 24" width also conforms to specifications
from ADAAG for platform edges. Installation is easy. Clean and prime the surface, peel the
backing off the back of the mat, and tamp making sure the mat edges firmly adhere to the
surface. Pedestrian traffic over the mat can begin immediately. The ADA Detectable Warning
Mats are skid resistant and once installed, are maintenance-free. ADA Mats can also be
used in building access areas, wheelchair ramps, bus stops, sidewalk ramps, and pedestrian
islands.
Mats can be installed on any concrete or asphalt surface. The domed pattern conforms to
the APRW Dectectable Warning recommendation from ADAAG. Stock colors are safety yellow and
